FAA Programs

Every spring, Fine Arts at Tannahill proudly stages a musical, offering students in grades 3 through 5 an exciting opportunity to showcase their talents and collaborate in a memorable production.

All students in grades 1-4 enjoy daily music classes that build foundational skills and creativity, culminating in exciting grade-level performances throughout the year. Fifth graders have the opportunity to deepen their vocal skills by choosing choir as an elective. 

Fifth grade students have the opportunity to take dance. Our dancers perform at pep rallies, Awards Nights,  and in our school-wide musicals. They experience a wide range of dance instruction, including Jazz, Hip-Hop and Ballet.

Every spring, the Fine Arts Academy at Tannahill Art Showcase celebrates our students’ creativity with a stunning display of artwork alongside lively music performances. In addition, students engage in the Texas PTA Reflections contest, expressing their unique voices through original art projects. During Fine Arts Friday, classrooms buzz with creativity as students explore various art forms. All students in grades 1 through 4 enjoy weekly Art classes as part of their rotation, while 5th graders have the option to choose Art as a daily elective.
