Fine Arts Academy Principal

Hello Fine Arts Academy Families!

My name is Brooke Mielinski, and I am honored to be the principal at FAA. I began my teaching career in 2006 at Tannahill Intermediate as a 5th grade math teacher; and in 2012, I began serving the campus as an Assistant Principal. This is my second year as an administrator and leader at FAA.

I graduated from Texas A&M University, class of 2005 (whoop!), with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on 4th through 8th grade math and science education. Then in 2013, I graduated with my Master’s degree in Education Leadership from Tarleton State University.

My husband, Dan, and I have three daughters, Maelie (12), Avery (8), and Callie (5). We love spending time together swimming, playing board games, and hanging out at the softball field.  I am passionate about reading and love talking about books with anyone who will listen.

One of our belief statements in WSISD is that every student has value and purpose.  This statement sums up my belief for your child as they spend their days learning at FAA. I look forward to helping your child grow personally and academically so that they realize their value to the community and that they discover their meaningful purpose while at FAA. What an honor and pleasure it is to serve each and every family at FAA this school year!
