Hello Fine Arts Families!!!
My name is Brooke Mielinski and I am honored to be the Principal at FAA. I began my teaching career in 2006 at Tannahill Intermediate School as a 5th grade math teacher and in 2012 I began serving the campus as an Assistant Principal. This is my second year as an administrator and leader at FAA.
I graduated from Texas A&M University, class of 2005 (whoop!), with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on 4th-8th grade math and science education. Then in 2013, I graduated with my Master’s degree in Education Leadership from Tarleton State University.
My husband Dan and I have three daughters, Maelie (10), Avery (7), and Callie (3) and we love spending time together swimming, playing board games, and hanging out at the softball field. I am passionate about reading and love talking about books with anyone who will listen.
One of our belief statements in WSISD is that every student has value and purpose. This statement sums up my belief for your child as they spend their days learning at FAA. I look forward to helping your child grow personally and academically so that they realize their value to the community and that they discover their meaningful purpose while at FAA. What an honor and pleasure it is to serve each and every family at FAA this school year!
